Track rent collected and owed
See a year of rent by month and by building: what's collected, on its way, still due and late.
The rent overview shows a year of rent on one screen. Open Payments and choose the Overview tab. It's included on every plan.
Every figure comes from your tenants' monthly rent charges (the rent plus any charges you've added to a lease), added up the same way as the Rent tab and the rent panel on Home. A month always reads the same wherever you see it.
The year at a glance
The top of the overview splits the year's rent four ways:

| Collected | Rent that has been paid and has settled |
| Processing | Payments on their way: an auto-pay debit that is still settling, or a payment you recorded as pending |
| Outstanding | Rent that is still owed but not yet late |
| Overdue | Rent that is past its due date with nothing on its way |
On the current year, Overdue is everything that is late right now, including rent from earlier years that is still unpaid. A line under it says how much of the figure that is and since when, and a link takes you to the list on the Rent tab. The bar above the figures only shows this year's charges. On a past year, Overdue counts that year's own late charges, and a line under the figures says how much is still owed from before it.
A pre-authorized debit usually clears in about 5 business days. If a payment has been on its way for more than 7 business days, the Processing figure says how many are taking longer than usual, and the charge shows how long it has been settling. Open the payment to see what to do next.
Use the arrows beside the year to step through earlier years, and This year to come back.
By month
Below the summary, each month of the year has a row with the amount expected and the same four figures. The thin bar on each row shows how that month's rent splits up.
Select a month to open it on the Rent tab, where you can see each rent charge and mark it paid. A rent charge appears a week before its due date, so later months show Not charged yet until then.
By building
If you have more than one building, a second table shows the same figures for each building over the year. Select a building to open it.
What needs your attention
Overdue rent, payments that are taking longer than usual to settle, repairs past their response time, leases ending soon, move-outs and documents about to expire are listed on Home. The bell in the top bar shows the same list, grouped by kind.
Monthly report email Growth plan
On the Growth plan and up, TenantSee can email your team a summary of the previous month on the 1st of each month.
To turn it on or off, go to Settings > General and use the Monthly report section.
