Log in and use two-step verification
Log in with an email link, a password or a passkey, and add two-step verification to your account.
You can log in to TenantSee three ways: with a link we email you, with a password, or with a passkey. Two-step verification (2FA) adds a code from an app on your phone after your password.
Log in with an email link
This is the way the login page opens on. Enter your email address, choose Email Me a Login Link, and open the link we send. It works once and expires in 5 minutes. If it has expired, choose Send it again on the Check your email screen.
Log in with a password
If you added a password, choose Use a Password Instead on the login page, enter your email and password, and choose Log In. If you forget it, choose Forgot password? and we'll email you a link to reset it.
An account your landlord's setup created has no password at first. To add one, go to Settings → Security, find Email and password and choose Set Password. A password needs at least 8 characters.
Log in with a passkey
A passkey lets you log in with Face ID, a fingerprint or your device's PIN instead of a password. On the login page, choose Log In with a Passkey.
To add one, go to Settings → Security → Passkeys and choose Add Passkey. Add one on each device you log in from. A passkey sign-in is complete on its own, with no code to enter.
Turn on two-step verification
- Go to Settings → Security
- Under Two-step verification, choose Set Up
- Enter your password to confirm it's you. If you log in by email link and have no password yet, set one first
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password, or type in the setup key
- Enter the 6-digit code the app shows
- Save your backup codes somewhere safe. Each one works once
Once it's on, an email login link can't sign you in. You log in with your password and a code, or with a passkey.
Log in with a code
After your email and password, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. It submits as soon as you've typed all six digits. If you don't have your phone, choose Use backup code instead and enter one of your backup codes.
If you need new backup codes, choose Make New Codes under Backup codes in Settings → Security. The old ones stop working.
See where you're logged in
Settings → Security → Signed-in devices lists the browsers and devices where you're logged in. Choose Sign Out of Other Devices to sign out everywhere except the one you're using. Changing your password also signs you out on your other devices.
